LINQ Conference Chair Christian M. Stracke welcomes all participants to LINQ 2015!
Dr. Christian M. Stracke is Associate Professor for Open Education and Innovation at the Welten Institute of the Open University of the Netherlands (OUNL) (www.ou.nl/web/welten-institute) and Managing Director of the TELIT Research Institute and Coordinator of European and international research at the University of Duisburg-Essen (www.TELIT.wiwi.uni-due.de) as well as Advisory Professor at the East China Normal University (ECNU) in Shanghai, and Adjunct Professor at the Korea National Open University (KNOU) in Seoul. He holds a PhD in Economics (Dr. rer. pol.) from the University of Duisburg-Essen and a Magister Artium (M.A.) in Educational Sciences from the University of Bonn. His main working fields are open and innovative education with special focus on technology-enhanced learning (TEL), impact measurement and competence modelling as well as quality management (QM), evaluation and standardisation in learning, education and training (LET). He is invited keynote speaker and PC member at many international conferences and Conference Chair of the International LINQ Conference. He could secure many research projects and funding including ODS and Q.E.D. as two of the biggest e-Learning projects next to many other obtained European research and development projects. He has studied educational sciences and gained extensive experience in leading large scale projects and in consulting and supporting institutions and public authorities to develop long-term policies and to introduce and improve learning innovations and quality. He has founded and established ICORE, the International Council for Open Education and Research (see: www.ICORE-online.org) and eLC, the European Institute for Learning, Innovation and Cooperation (see: www.elc-institute.org) as well as QLET, the Quality Portal for LET (www.qualitydevelopment.eu).
