LINQ 2015 will be enriched by a special Conference Event: Explore Inspiring Science Education! The pioneering Inspiring Science Education initiative (ISE) will host a special conference event centred on their experience in technology-enhanced science education.

The fourth annual LINQ conference on “Learning Innovations and Quality” will convene renowned international keynotes, experts and voices from the field for presenting and discussing the scientific and practice papers selected by the International Programme Committee in double-blind peer-review, in addition to sixteen research project presentations. The selected six distinct and interactive workshops demonstrate LINQ 2015’s dedication to furthering quality education and facilitating interaction between all participants. Read more

Keynote Speaker: Prof. Dr. Grainne Conole

Grainne_ConoleProf. Dr. Grainne Conole joined the University of Bath Spa on 1st February 2015 as Chair in Education. She was previously at University of Leicester, where she was professor of learning innovation and director of the Institute of Learning Innovation. Keynote Speaker: Professor Dr. Alexander Khoroshilov

Alexander_KhoroshilovProfessor Dr. Alexander Khoroshilov is the Officer-in-Charge for UNESCO IITE. He holds a PhD and is a well-known scientist and specialist on ICTs, mathematical modeling and statistics. He has over 40 years of deep professional experience in the field of ICTs and education (strategic development and management, capacity building and professional development, coordination of scientific-educational projects) including that at the international level.

Keynote speaker: Bodo Richter

Bodo_RichterBodo Richter represents the European Commission as Deputy Head of Unit – Innovation in Education, European Institute of Innovation and Technology and Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions. Bodo Richter joined the European Commission in 1997. He has worked in the Directorates-General for Employment and Social Affairs as well as Education and Culture in the areas of training, communication, innovation, higher education and international organisations. Invited Speaker: Dr. Yves Punie

Yves_PunieDr. Yves Punie is a senior researcher at the European Commission Institute for Prospective Technological Studies (JRC IPTS), leading its research and policy activities on “ICT for Learning, Skills and Open Education”. His research covers four main interrelated research strands, across all educational sectors: Open Education and OER, Innovating Learning and Teaching, Key Competences and 21st century skills, and the Future of Learning.
